About the role
Head of the direct tax compliance and representation desk, overseeing corporate tax computations, scrutiny submissions before faceless assessment centres, and CIT(Appeals) submissions.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing corporate income-tax returns and withholding tax (TDS) filings.
- Drafting legal written submissions and paper books for assessment and penalty proceedings.
- Managing search, seizure and survey documentation advisory.
- Client advisory on transfer pricing and international transaction disclosures.
Requirements
- 4–7 years experience in corporate direct tax practice.
- Strong jurisprudence background and familiarity with ITAT precedents.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of 4–6 professionals.
Working arrangements
- Mon–Sat 10:00 am – 6:30 pm at Gomti Nagar office.
